Tracy Pitcher Letter Raising Costs Supposedly Increasing Speed (ours dropped). Fool me once!

RE: Tracy Pitcher Letter Raising Costs Supposedly Increasing Speed (ours dropped from 34/20 to 18/3). Fool me once!

If you are getting better than the speed announced in the letter, whatever you do, don't get suckered into powering off your Comcast Business Class Business IP Gateway then powering it back on. The price gouging continues and the service continues to get worse (email retrieval uptime decreased and speed for the lucky ones like us got cut while the cost we pay for Comcast broadband has increased 28% in less than one year). It's criminal! We can't increase our prices by 28% & stay in business and we can't afford Comcast/Xfinity doing it to us. Thanks for doing your part to kill American small businesses Comcast/Xfinity! I'd rather hear from those who experienced a 28% price increase in less than a year and experienced a speed decrease like we did as a result of Comcast/Xfinity's latest technology change.

ESC,

Thanks for the post, and we value the opinions of our customers.  We checked your account and our records note that you currently purchase our Business Class Internet Starter service (was 12Mbps/2Mbps service - > just increased to 16Mbps/3Mbps).  It is great that you have bursting speeds much greater than that however, please note that by regularly exceeding the bandwidth limitation on the gateway, your internet may appear to stall or stop temporarily as all of the data is pushed through.

Do other customers feel the same about this speed increase?  Please let us know.
